Our Guests
We thought about a dusty book in the chalet with illegible scribbling from guests of old and decided to embrace the internet instead. We want comments about your stays, what you loved and what you didn’t, the quality of the snow and tales of your off piste adventures. We have also set up a flickr group where you can upload choice pictures of your daring escapades, fondue frolics or après ski madness. We want to create a community of people who love staying in Chalet Minouchet and will offer a prize for the best picture of the season.
We look forward to seeing what you get up to!

Your comments
A very comfortable, warm chalet. Ideally situated close to town and ski lifts. Everything about the chalet was brilliant, from the booking to the arrival. Nice to know that you were there at the end of the phone if we needed anything but everything went smoothly. We would certainly recommend you in fact we already have!
Lynne Taylor - 19th January 2010I’ve had the opportunity of staying in Le Minouchet a couple of times and I, or rather we, the family, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Rod Ape - 9th March 2010It’s ideally situated for the Pleney Lift and skiing right back to the ski-cellar is pure luxury!
The chalet is roomy and well layed out and has all amenities necessary for a most comfortable holiday.
Hope it will be available the next time we want to
ski in ‘Les Portes du Soleil’.
We stayed in Le Minouchet is the summer months and it was simply delightful. Have not yet had the chance to use the place in winter but thoroughly enjoyed the view from the kitchen window and dining area.
Jana Herbert-Fiu - 15th March 2010Within walking distance to the local hot spots, shops and pharmacy, the house was well-equipped to handle surprise visitors.
We had an excellent time in Morzine last year and the chalet was a nice cosy home for us. We’re going back this August and will definitely want Le Minouchet again. We recommend it highly!
Morzine is such a beautiful place! Having already skiied over in the 3 Valleys area of Val Thorens and La Plagne in previous holidays I had been accustomed to the ‘purpose built’ style ski town. Morzine offers so much more, with its pleasant friendly town vibe, abundance of different shops, good bars for apres ski (and extra amenities I didn’t expect…we even got to see a local ice hockey match – the town has its own ice hockey stadium and even tennis courts!).
Avoriaz or Pleney… there are two sides of the valley to choose from to ski, and with so many runs to choose – visiting late in the season wasn’t a problem. Unlike the higher resorts (like Val Thorens) Morzines scenery has lots of pine trees.. and with it plenty of fantastic tree lined pistes!
The chalet itself was well equipped, clean and spacious – and situated a very short walk away from the centre of Morzine. Plenty of appliances too.. the coffee machine aided my early mornings onto the piste and there was even a washer and dryer in the boot room.. fresh socks every day! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chalet Minouchet and will hopefully be back here again soon.
Sarah Long - 22nd April 2010Best ski trip in a long time! Blessed with a fresh batch of pow on the 1st day AND this was at the end of the season!
The Chalet is perfect, spacious enough for all of us (group of 10) with a great dinning area and awesome lounge to chill and watch TV to unwind to pre-night time activities!
Have already started to set up my AL for another week (or two!) in Feb 2011, just have to get the rest of the crew onboard!
Absolutely knock out place!
See you next season!
Andy Winter - 22nd April 2010Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed staying in the Chalet, it was lovely! Very spacious with all the amenities you could possibly need, and such a short walk to both the Pleney and Avoriaz sides of the valley, as well as the town. The Chalet has a lovely homely feel aswell, it was like a little home away from home, and made our stay extra enjoyable. We are hoping to come back next year!
Sam Young - 27th April 2010We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet – which exceeded all our expectations both in terms of facilities and comfort! Warm, clean, homely and conveniently located… what else could we need? It was our first time in Morzine too – so the central location, and ability to ski in/out was perfect. We’ll be back to Chalet Minouchet soon (love your website too!)
Pierre - 27th April 2010Awesome week, been going to Morzine for years and this was by far the best stay I’ve had yet. The chalet was spot on, perfect location, really comfortable and ideal for our group. The ski area continues to amaze, fresh powder on 14th April – who could ask for more? We’ll definitely be back!
Ed - 28th April 2010After such a fantastic week in chalet Minouchet I feel compelled to leave a review. The chalet is in a perfect location overlooking the mountains and only 5 minutes walk away from the centre of Morzine. Pleney and Avoriaz are so close and easy to walk to in your ski boots its just perfect. The Chalet is beautiful and well maintained. All the rooms are comfortable, spacious and the facilities are excellent. I’d most definately recommend a holiday in Chalet Minochout whether it a ski or summer one. We’ll hopefully be back next year!
Another fantastic mountain bike holiday at Chalet Minouchet thanks. This is our 3rd stay and the chalet was better than ever.
Martin Przyrembel - 13th July 2010See you next year hopefully!
We stayed at Chalet Minouchet for two weeks over the summer and had a great time. All up there were eight of us there with eight bikes and the Chalet had more than enough room for all of us. The location is one of the Chalet’s best features, it’s less than one minute away from the Pleney (main) lift in Morzine and two minutes away from the Super Morzine (secondary) lift. Thanks to Charlie and Sarah for their great service during our stay.
Alex Rollings - 10th August 2010I stayed at Chalet Minouchet last year for my first ever ski trip. It was brilliant. There were 9 of us and we had a blast! The chalet was amazing, super close to the pubs and I loved the fact that you could ski to the door at the end of the day! Most memorable holiday moments include; my first powder day in Linderet, steak feast at L’Etale (I love that place!), a cosy night in the chalet recovering from doing the circuit and Jaegarbombs at Opera nightclub. I can’t wait for the 2011 trip.
Jezo-spins - 5th December 2010Morzine is such a great resort; huge ski area, fun little town and best of all less than an hour drive from Geneva.
We got a transfer with Skiidy Gonzales which was professional, on time and dropped us off at the door of the Chalet. Excellently located, warm and cosy.
There’s some great places to drink and eat in the town – my favourites include Coup de Coeur – a fab spot for apres ski where you can drink an amazing selection of wines whilst wrapped up in blankets. Opposite is their sister restaurant La Charmade which takes a modern approach to Savoyard food.
Other great restaurants include Les Deux Alpes which is hidden behind a sports shop in town and Numero Dix by the town hall which also does home delivery!!
Maeve Hall - 5th December 2010Awesome time! Thanks again to Rose who helped with our drunken medical emergency! Had a great time, hopefully come back again soon!
James - 16th February 2011We had a great time at the chalet. Very clean and spacious. Had everything we needed for the nights in we cooked. Great location…
Scott Phillips - 31st March 2011Hopefully return next year
fab week, 3 – 8 jan 2012. nine of us at chalet, age range, 50 to 6, all really enjoyed themselves!! amazing snow, great success with The Snow School for ski lessons for the little people, varied and interesting red, black and blue runs for the rest of us. Only critisism of chalet, the boiler is rather noisy!!! It is possible to ski back on a lovely blue run and a stiff 5 minute walk in the morning will take you back to the run to the Pleney lift. The kitchen of the chalet is excellent, the whole place is VERY HOMELY and the accomadation worked superbly. Thankyou, we hope to return!!! xxxxxxxxxxxx
sallie walters - 10th January 2012Have stayed in Morzine numerous times, but our stay in Chalet Minouchet was the best accommodation so far. We were all delighted. It felt like a real home from home. Loved the layout, the views from the kitchen. Really cosy. I also enjoyed all your wallprints! We shall be back. Thank you
